Well saying this is a "new article" is not 100% true. It has in fact been there for a good solid month. I just haven't gotten around to saying anything about it since it not completely finished. There are 2 broken links in it. I was hesitant to talk about the page until those links are resolved, but since they are nearing completion, I figure I can, at the very least give everyone a sneak preview. The article is titled Ammunition Guide and can be found under the Articles/Plans section.
Here we will give you a brief overview of the different bullets, casings, and cartridge types to give the average person a better understanding of what's out there, what to look for, and what's best to use against our undead foes.

| I have some nice transparent upgrades for you guys. First off, our forum, and all it's tools have been upgraded from SMF 1.1.6 to SMF 1.1.8, this was a much-needed upgrade, and the process went smoother than I expected. On that note, we also installed 3 new anti-spam tools to both the website and forum. Hopefully it makes browsing a little cleaner. Like I said, not really an exciting upgrade, but kind of a big deal. Enjoy...

| Updates... Some big, some small |

Let me start off by listing the fun updates. A new Long Term Survival Article has been added to the site titled "Raiding a Store". (This article will teach you the basic steps as well as the "do's and don'ts" associated with raiding an abandoned store. It applies to a wide variety of stores including delis, supermarkets, and shopping centers.) It's a great read, and it's somewhat long so it's also a great time killer as well. As far as "not so cool" updates go, the style sheet for the site has been significantly updated to make articles flow better. It is a transparent change for most of you, but we all think it's a big improvement. Lastly, you will start seeing these small icons appear all over the site. Here is an example of a page heavily utilizing them. They are basically link markers, and help you locate internal link thought the pages better. I hope you like the new content, and site improvements.

| New update to an old section |

| Long time no see… We have received tons of letters questioning when Zombie Crisis will be up and running again. The majority of the staff has a lot going on with life at the moment, and the site kind of found its way to the back burner. Enough about that, it is time for updates. This isn't truly new content. Our section on zombie life (or lack there of) was up and running well over a year ago but none of use were all that happy with it. So, we decided to update it. The New Zombie Section is vastly more in depth, and is a good read for those interested. Enjoy.

| Review of the baseball bat |

| We have completed our comprehensive study on the effects of a baseball bat (both wooden and aluminum) on a zombie’s cranium. The bat turned out to be far more effective then any of us had originally anticipated, which is a good thing considering that it is relatively cheap, and readily available. The reviews can be located in the weapon section, or by clicking these links: aluminum bat, and wooden bat.

If you are going to get through a zombie outbreak there are a few basic skills you are going to need in order to survive. There are very few things worse than being presented with an obstacle where you do not have the means by which to overcome it. So, in order to help insure your survival we have come up with a list of important skills you should know to help you survive. It can be found in the plans section.

By popular demand we have completed our review of the over hyped chainsaw. It stacked up about as well as we expected, which is unfortunately very poorly. Do yourself a favor, and read the review. It can be found in our weapon section, and may one day save your life, or at the very least debunk some of those bad ideas floating around in your head.

First an RSS Feed, now a forum? All we need is a blog, and we will be "hip". Yeah, that was a joke, we promise, no blogs. Back on topic, we have a forum. It can be found by clicking the forum link on the left hand side of every page, or the quick link bar directly below the banner. If you want to access it directly simply go to http://forums.zombiecrisis.org/ or http://www.zombiecrisis.org/forums/. Either will work. Everyone go make an account. We look forward to speaking with you. Please feel free to send us your comments or suggestions.

| Two new weapon reviews have been added to the site; the Mossberg Maverick 88 pump action shotgun, and the generic double barrel shotgun. Both of these weapons were found to be highly effective, however potentially dangerous when thwarting undead enemies. Do yourself a favor and check them out. They are a very important read and can easily be found in the Weapons Section. Enjoy.

| Swords, Swords and more Swords. |

| We have a new addition to the weapons section. Everyones favorite, swords! We reviewed three major types of swords, the decorative stainless steel display sword (aka Home shopping network), the forged high carbon reproduction sword, and the authentic antique sword. Most people think, "A sword is a sword, what's the difference?" Or, "My Lord of the Rings replica sword IS a real sword." This is just not the case. These articles are meant to give you an in-depth look at what makes a good sword, and what makes a good sword an effective weapon.
